5.In the properties window that opens, without changing any values, click OK to continue.

6.Type the following command(replace the word UnlockCode with the GENUINE KEY we sent you):
AT^CARDLOCK=UnlockCode
and press enter.

7.Your Vodafone a1 e220 modem modem should now be unlocked. Close Hyperterminal, disconnect your modem and connect it again.
